Andy Dalugoda, the Senior Director of Data, Analytics and Systems at Bluberi Gaming, has had an interesting journey in the gaming industry. Originally from Sri Lanka, he found his passion for data and analytics while studying in Las Vegas. After facing challenges during the Great Recession, he landed his first job as a marketing data analyst at Aristocrat and later moved to Konami Gaming.
At Konami Gaming, Dalugoda had the opportunity to work across different areas of the business, which helped shape his career. He credits his mentors, Mesa Whitehurst and Steve Kohon, for guiding him along the way. Both mentors eventually joined Bluberi Gaming, where Dalugoda currently holds a senior position.
In his role at Bluberi Gaming, Dalugoda enjoys the detective work that comes with data analytics. He believes that data can provide valuable insights into various aspects of the business, from performance data in the field to internal data on manufacturing, marketing, and operations. He sees analytics as a crucial component of the gaming industry’s future and hopes to make a significant impact in the years to come.
