Kaleigh McManus, 33, of New Haven, Conn., was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. She was booked at the Washington County jail and released on $2K bond. The incident began when McManus entered a restricted area at the casino and punched a casino worker and a good Samaritan who tried to intervene. She then tried to escape through an emergency exit but was stopped by security guards. When two state troopers attempted to arrest her, she assaulted them, leading to her arrest. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the altercation.

In a separate incident at a bar and gaming facility in Billings, Montana, a man named Marshall William Wilson was shot and killed in a parking lot. Two others, a 38-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, were injured but are expected to recover. The altercation began with an argument, resulting in Wilson shooting the two victims. The woman then attempted to shoot Wilson, but a 25-year-old witness intervened and shot Wilson, leading to his death. The shooter has not been identified, and no arrests have been made as of yet. Police are investigating the incident, and it was confirmed that none of the individuals involved knew each other before the dispute.
