Jerry Lewis’ Vegas house, located at 1701 Waldman Ave., is set to go up for auction on June 29. The auction will take place during an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. PT, and all attendees must pre-qualify or show proof of funds to participate. The formal opening bid for the house is $999,999, but the reserve price remains undisclosed.

The house, where Lewis lived with his wife for 35 years until his passing in 2017, features 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Despite its historical significance as Lewis’ residence, the house no longer contains any of his original belongings, as they were auctioned off in 2018.

Built in 1964 on three-quarters of an acre in the Scotch 80s neighborhood of Las Vegas, the house has a rich history. Lewis, known for his comedic talents and philanthropic work, was a beloved figure in the entertainment industry. From his early days as part of the comedy duo Martin and Lewis to his iconic roles in movies like “The Nutty Professor,” Lewis left a lasting impact on popular culture.

After Lewis’ passing, his widow sold the house to investor Jane Popple, who specializes in acquiring properties with celebrity connections. Popple later sold the house to Blooming Desert LLC, a real estate company that made some updates to the property while preserving its original charm.

Unfortunately, Blooming Desert LLC defaulted on mortgage payments, leading to the house being sold to Brumbles Capital, a private lending company. The current owner of the house is believed to be Brumbles Capital, who acquired the property through a foreclosure sale in September 2023.

The upcoming auction of Jerry Lewis’ former Las Vegas home presents an opportunity for buyers to own a piece of entertainment history. With its spacious layout, historic significance, and connection to a legendary comedian, the house is sure to attract interest from potential buyers looking for a unique and iconic property in Las Vegas.
