A recent video has surfaced showing Hamas terrorists capturing three individuals, including an Israeli-American, near the Gaza border on October 7. The families of the hostages decided to release the video in hopes of putting pressure on the government to secure a cease-fire deal to release the hostages.

The footage reveals the hostages, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eliya Cohen, and Or Levy, being transported in a white pickup truck towards Gaza. Goldberg-Polin appears injured, with his forearm severely damaged. Hamas later released a video showing him in captivity with part of his arm amputated.

The three men were attending the Tribe of Nova music festival when the terrorist attack occurred. They are believed to still be held captive by Hamas. The video was primarily captured by terrorists who carried out the attack, resulting in numerous casualties and hostages being taken.

The video begins with security camera footage showing the terrorists approaching a shelter, followed by scenes of the hostages being forced into the truck. Some parts of the video are blurred to censor sensitive content. The terrorists are seen celebrating the capture, with one even attempting to take a selfie with Goldberg-Polin.

Rachel Goldberg-Polin, the mother of Hersh, expressed her anguish over the situation, emphasizing that each hostage is an individual with loved ones awaiting their safe return. Or Levy’s wife, Einav, tragically lost her life in the attack, adding to the emotional toll on the families.

Michael Levy, Or Levy’s brother, described the video as horrific and shared his feelings of helplessness at not being able to protect his brother during the ordeal. Eliya Cohen attended the festival with his girlfriend, who survived by hiding under bodies in the shelter. The footage shows the hostages enduring physical and emotional trauma at the hands of the terrorists.

The families of the hostages are urging the government to take swift action to secure the release of their loved ones. The release of the video has shed light on the harrowing experiences faced by the hostages and their families, highlighting the urgent need for a resolution to end their captivity.
